Samarth Agro Exports is a family owned business founded in 2006, located in Tisgaon, Nashik, 250kms from Mumbai, the financial capital of India.

We are one of the very few growers & exporters of grapes in the Nashik district.

Our grapes have reached the shores of countries namely U.K, Canada, Russia, European Continent, East and South Asia

Legacy

A legacy of grapes cultivation since 1960s, our family has a rich heritage of producing table grapes.
Passed on from our ancestors, currently the 3rd generation looks after the production and oversees our own grape orchards spread across 50 acres.

1960-1980s

Gopala Tukaram Bhalerao

A visionary who was keen on farming, introduced production of grapes back in the 60s in an area of 2 acres. The varieties back then were called Bhokari, Fakadi,Anabeshahi and Kalisahebi.

1980-2000s

Chandrabhan Gopala Bhalerao

A wrestling aficionado, he ensured to carry forward the legacy of grapes cultivation from his father with introduction of new varieties like Thompson.

He also produced seasonal crops like sugarcane, tomatoes, leafy green vegetables etc.

2000-Now

Babanrao Chandrabhan Bhalerao

An Electronics Engineer by education with the vision and aim of exporting fresh produce across the globe, founded Samarth Agro Exports and constructed the cold storage and packing infrastructure. He is responsible for implementing technological advances into grape production.

He is currently one of the directors of MRDBS, a grapes overseeing body the state of Maharashtra.

Infrastructure

Our packing and cold storage facility is spread across 15000 sq.ft in the village of Tisgaon which is well connected by the inter-state highways.

The facility is furnished with state of the art integrated packing and cooling equipment which facilitates us to pack 20MT of produce every day.

Our cold storage has a holding capacity of 60MT.
The two pre-coolers can hold up to 5MT each.

We have a well trained workforce with hands on experience enabling us to ensure time efficient packing and dispatches.

His love for farming and his skillsets in networking and interpersonal communication assisted him to supply fresh produce and fruits to clients worldwide.

As the company’s Founder & MD, he oversees all the operations and ensures that the consumers and stakeholders demands are fulfilled.

Santosh Vasantrao Bhalerao
Director

Masters in Commerce (M.Com), University of Pune.

A commerce postgraduate with an affinity towards agriculture, he uses his statistical expertise and meticulous planning approach in the production with the goal of achieving higher yields with premium quality fruit.

As the Production & Quality Director, he oversees the quality, production, pesticide application and overall cultivation process.
He also liaises with the farmer group ensuring efficient production of grapes.

His devotion to quality, innovation along with implementation of technology have been the main reasons in achieving higher yields from the fields.

Atul Vasantrao Bhalerao
Packhouse Director

Masters in Arts (M.A), University of Pune.

A joyous and cheerful personality, cricket enthusiast and an Arts Postgraduate, he manages the supply chain, packhouse operations and procurement of quality fruits as the company’s Packhouse Director.

He is responsible for ensuring seamless sourcing, harvesting, packing, cold storage and dispatch processes. He has extensive knowledge to effectively execute and maintain strict food safety standards.

He possesses robust analytical and problem-solving skills and has a proven ability to think tactically and make informed decisions.

Adwait Babanrao Bhalerao
Marketing Head

Bachelors in Civil Engineering, University of Pune.
Masters in Construction and Project Management, Queen’s University Belfast.

A young wanderlust individual, sports aficionado and a creative mind takes care of the marketing division of the company.

He is responsible for ensuring that the produce is sold to genuine buyers across the globe. His dynamic disposition and commitment toward making Samarth a global brand has assisted the organisation to create a footprint in relevant channels and global platforms.

After spending 4 years in the United Kingdom, he decided to come back to India out of consideration for the benefit of the family business and the farmers.
